A little community outside of Winston-Salem, Walkertown is located in Forsyth County, North Carolina, in the United States. It is a component of the Piedmont Triad.
The 2020 census revealed a population of 5,695 in Walkertown. It ranks as the 5964th largest city in the US and the 144th largest in North Carolina.

Walkertown was given its name in honor of Dr. Robert Walker, who had been residing there by 1771.
